What is not found in some of the latest gadget fixed multiplex is found in the 465 seats capacity Manasa theatre. That is the latest 11.1 Auro 3 and that was installed by Barco immersive sound platform in its ultra screen auditorium.

As a matter of fact the first Auto 3 11.1 sound technology was first installed in DRC multiplex in Mysore. One of the four screens is specially meant for this technology.

Explaining the procedure BARCO chief in Bangalore Madhusoodhan stated that the latest sound technology from all around in the theatre was first used in India by Dr Kamal Hassan in ‘Vishwaroopam’. The sound system was fed to the film in California. The installation of such sound system has started in Chennai and Hyderabad theatres.

At ‘Manasa’ theatre in Konakakunte area from ‘Mariyan’ Tamil cinema the new technology is given to the treat of the audience. It is a technology that gives the natural sound without missing anything.

From Rs.20 lakhs to Rs.2 crores the technology is available. The producers and Exhibitors have to get more awareness on this factor. Already AVS, AR Rehman and Prasad Studios equipped with this system.

In Kannada filmdom a demonstration is given soon to the film industry on the new technology of sound. Upendra and Rockline Venkatesh have been contacted on this aspect says Madhusoodhan.
